metadata.dc.description.abstracten: The present work’s goal is to approach the technique of digital photogrammetry as a tool for documenting the built architectural heritage, in order to obtain a three-dimensional digital mesh that brings information about textures, volume, dimensions, among other information for recording and inventorying the property, aiming to use relatively low-cost software and equipment. A case study will be made from the application of the 3D scanning technique, using the Pelourinho da Praça Minas Gerais in the city of Mariana, in Minas Gerais. Previous and experimental tests were carried out to then carry out the survey of Pelourinho. For this study, a Canon PowerShot HS 520 camera was used for the photographic survey, the MESHROOM software for the photogrammetric restitution of the heritage, in order to create a threedimensional mesh, and the Blender software for cleaning and polishing the constructed mesh. From this, a critical analysis of the process was carried out, revealing the main limitations that a low budget can cause to this technique and the results that can be obtained.
