| Abstract: | O presente trabalho pretende abordar a temática “Gestão Educacional” e tem por objetivo discutir a função de gestão na escola, e a importância e desafios da realização de uma gestão democrática. O caminho metodológico da pesquisa, partiu do estudo e análise das experiências de profissionais que atuaram ou atuam na gestão de escolas públicas, seja da esfera estadual e/ou municipal da cidade de Mariana - MG, através de entrevistas orais (gravações) e questionários escritos, visamos buscar resultados que favoreçam a reflexão sobre os desafios, os anseios, as possíveis melhorias para uma gestão mais democrática, eficiente e eficaz. Conhecer e analisar experiências, repensá-las, ouvir diferentes pontos de vista sobre o êxito ou fracasso de determinadas práticas e ou instituições são ferramentas, caminhos e contribuição positiva para a construção de uma melhor gestão democrática, e consequentemente, de uma educação mais acessível, inclusiva e exitosa. Esse é o desafio proposto: ouvir essas vozes, profissionais gestores que lideraram (ou lideram) escolas públicas por um determinado tempo, estes educadores podem nos dizer sobre essa complexidade inerente à Gestão Escolar, sobre os caminhos e obstáculos para realizar uma “Gestão Democrática”. Assim, é preciso ousar e construir uma escola onde todos sejam acolhidos e desenvolvam as suas potencialidades. |
| metadata.dc.description.abstracten: | This study addresses the theme of “Educational Management” and aims to discuss the managerial role within schools, as well as the importance and challenges of implementing democratic management. The methodological approach of the research was based on the study and analysis of the experiences of professionals who have worked or currently work in the management of public schools, whether at the state and/or municipal level in the city of Mariana, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Through oral interviews (recordings) and written questionnaires, we sought to obtain results that encourage reflection on the challenges, expectations, and possible improvements toward more democratic, efficient, and effective management. Knowing and analyzing experiences, rethinking them, and listening to different perspectives regarding the success or failure of certain practices and/or institutions are valuable tools and constructive pathways toward building stronger democratic management and, consequently, a more accessible, inclusive, and successful education system. This is the proposed challenge: to listen to these voices—school administrators who have led (or currently lead) public schools for a certain period of time—since these educators can shed light on the complexity inherent in School Management, as well as on the paths and obstacles to achieving “Democratic Management.” Therefore, it is necessary to be bold and to build a school in which everyone is welcomed and able to develop their full potential. |
