| Abstract: | Esta pesquisa analisa a vida e obra de Agatha Christie e seu impacto na literatura e no teatro do gênero policial, se apoiando na biografia da autora por Janet Morgan (1984) e análises de suas obras e das histórias de detetive que marcaram o início do século XX. Trago também uma análise da obra A Mansão Hollow, usando como base o estudo de Jean Pierre Chauvin (2016) sobre a mesma, uma vez que a segunda etapa deste Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso visa adaptar a dramaturgia de Christie. O processo criativo para a encenação da adaptação da referida peça também foi descrito no trabalho. |
| metadata.dc.description.abstracten: | This research analyzes the life and work of Agatha Christie and her impact on the literature and theater of the detective genre, based on her biography by Janet Morgan (1984) and studies of her works and the detective stories that marked the beginning of the 20th century. I also make use of Jean Pierre Chauvin's (2016) study on The Hollow, since the second stage of this Bachelor Degree on Scenic Arts in Directing aims to adapt Christie's dramaturgy. The creative process for the adaptation of the referred play is also described here. |
